HCL -> HC2 Move

Question

Posted

Hi!

If i would like to migrate all my devices from HCL to HC2 i understand that this is not possible to do automaticly,

But is it possible to run the 2 systems in parallell using 2 different IP adresses so i can easily remove from HCL and add to HC2 and easily copy paste my virtual devices?

Please advise!

Thanks!

More systems parallel is always possible.

there is no easy move between hcl and hc2

if you want to move a device you have to exclude on hcl and include on hc2

I think you can just run the HCL as a slave and do all the programming in the HC2 so you wouldn't have to move them over

or wait for Fibaro option

Controller transfer:Starts process of adding a controller and is transferring its role as a main controller.

Not sure this is working at the moment.

TANE, not available so far, sorry.

KristianO, easiest way will be to run HCL as a slave and do all scenes/ virtual devices on HC2. You can move your devices gradually to HC2 then, few at a time, so you do not have to spend all day at once adding devices.
