HCL Access Control Panel

Question

Posted

I have created 2 new users in the Access Control Panel(HCL) with limited access rights.

I can log in with these 2 users on my web browser thus username and password is correct.

When I try to access the Fibaro App on Android I get an error message "Invalid log in or password" Only my "admin" can access the Fibaro app. I am sure the correct devices for each user is selected under their names respectively. Still no luck. Any ideas?

Hey Stephan.

So my experience is that there is a 2 level access and I stand under correction. The first user name and password is the

and the second is the actual access to the home controller.

With setting up mine, I have 3 users that access it via the app. On the HC2 I have set up the 3 users with permissions. When setting up the app, the fist user name it requests I use the home.fibaro.com user profile I registered and the second would be the user that I set up on the HC2.

I hope I understood your question and that the above helps.

Thanks for the assistance guys. Yes I also understood it the same as Trevor explained.

Yes I am trying to log in locally. I have installed the Fiabro app on a second device. Tried to log in with the newly created username and password(for local access), but access denied.

I have another question and it is most probably associated with the above topic.

In the access control panel I have created 2 users. Obviously "Admin" is the default administrator and the 2 additional users are Stephan & Miri. At the bottom of the setup page is the list of mobile devices to be selected to receive notifications etc.

1.) Is it possible to select a mobile device per new user? It seems like these mobile devices are saved under "Admin" and not each user respectively.

I can select all the mobile devices but I don't want both users to receive the same push notifications. Stephan need to see some notifications and Miri other.

2.) Under the "Your House" tab "My Family" shows only "Admin" and not any of the other 2 users? If I click in "Admin" then the gps coordinates of both mobile devices shows up. Even if that specific mobile device is not selected and saved under "Admin".

I have created these users a couple of days ago and thought both names will appear under "My Family" but still nothing.

I notice that when I create a new user I can select the device to be accessed. Is it possible to block the possibility to enter in the configuration panel?

Is it possible to personalize the web interface hiding some tab (e.g. plugins)?

I'd like to create a user that can only use device without the possibility to create problems accessing to configuration sections.

    Thank.

    Riccardo
