Since allot of us is using our iphone/android phone or I/android Pad, as a Wake up Clock.

would it be possible to integrate that on a easy way.. just to set the Wake up time and mp3

song etc , directly on the home screen.

That would also be a nice feature to use in a scene, to turn on lights coffee maker etc..

Time based Before ande after selected wakeup time..

And really easy to change , for people who dont want to Wake up on the same time , every day.

If I understand you correct, if you have an android device, you can use the tasker apps to start scenes on the HC2 when the alarm clock rings on your android phone.

I use iphone and ipad. i might buy some androids to integrate in each room later.

But i was thinking mor globally . so it can be done directly in the HC app or in Hc.

Trying to find something that works with Iphone/Ipad.

But it would be cool to have it implemented , directly in Fibero Apps.

I have Android tablets in different rooms on the wall and airplay speakers 6 different places in our house. If you want something nice, the solution isn't simple, but here is what I have done:

    - Tablets in 5 different rooms all running my own custom interface based on a webserver (basically, the tablets are just showing a full screen webpage)

    - An alarm clock function in my interface where you can set your wake up tone and what other actions to do (i.e. turn on one bed lamp, change the lighting program, enable specific motion detectors etc.)

    - An Apple Script running on my iMac which allows me to control my iTunes library and AirPlay units from the android interface (a bit quirky, but it works)

I also have an iPad optimized interface and a 16:10 screen interface, meaning I can access it from my iPad, from my TV, my iPhone, my girlfriends android or through a VPN tunnel. Basically, anyone who visits the house can access the interface (in a guest mode with restricted access) and can set up their own custom alarm if they need to get up in the morning (in our guest room only!

This enables me to do exactly what you describe, but as I wrote, it takes a bit more effort than a simple Tasker scene. If you just have one fixed tune to play, Tasker works okay, but as soon as you want to change music, it becomes a bit more tricky.

    Dalle1985,

What do you use to wallmount your android tablets?

    Posted

    Double sided Tape...

I've looked for different mounting systems, but I haven't found anything nice (I'd like a very slimline cradle with integrated USB-port but no luck). So what I do is stick masking tape on the wall and the back of the tablets and then sandwich some double-sided foam tape inbetween. That way they can be removed (with some degree of caution) and stick very well to the wall. I'm renovating the entire house going through all the rooms, so I am routing the USB cables inside the wall and then through a small wall transit just at the power jack - If I choose to remove the tablet, the cable can be pulled out and the hole plastered over (it is 10 mm in size, so quite small and hidden behind the tablets.

I use Samsung Galaxy Note 7" tablets - not the most powerful beast, but my application is quite low footprint anyhow, so it works just fine for the purpose and they can be bought relatively cheap (I payed something like £80 for each). I've tried with some no-name chinese tablets, but they burn out in a month when they are on most of the time (it seems like the flash memory can't stand the abuse). So even though they can be bought for £30-40, it isn't a good approach as you would need to change them every month.

I found a company who does a small alu frame.

That can be cut to whatever size. I'll find the

    link for you.

well if its not bigger than the ipad its just to cut it into the right size.

    Or talk to the Company..

it´s just a simple alu frame..

This is really my big problem with all the frames - THEY ARE HUGE! I actually prefer the plug out of the bottom instead of the huge frame.

    I will try this

I'm actually considering creating indentations in the walls for my tablets so they can be flush with the wall. But as I don't want to spend 35000$ on ipads, I will be making the frames and the recesses myself.
