How to fix Devices without templates

Hello,

I updated my Fibaro system to 4.031 and now i have a long list of devices stated as; Devices without templates - in the diagnostics panel. How can i fix that? Pushing the button Reconfiguration in the diagnostics panel doesnt seem to work. When i push the button Reconfigure device in the device panel it totaly stops working!. I can't switch my lights off any more

Guys,

This has gotten to be beyond stupid, I "Upgraded" from a Vera to the HC2 because I was promised a MUCH better system with more capabilities.

Instead I get a device that doesn't really work. No device templates on upgrading? are you kidding me? EVERY OTHER SYSTEM OUT THERE WORKS. every other system lets you get into the device parameters and adjust them, this system is a freaking dumb remote controlled on/off switch

why are we STILL putting up with the excuses?

If they are from Fibaro exclude/include them, other brands: just ignore the messages.

Some are Fibaro and some are other brands. With exclude/include do you mean delete the device and include it again (give it a name again and stuf like that)? I don't hope so becouse that would be a lot of work

My system was very instable before I removed the Fibaro devices from that list, also the RAM used was very high (98%). After removing them and including them again it is running fine.

But why are these templates not available anymore? I use Duro2000 wall switches and some have a dimmer option that i normaly could include in a scene, now this is not working anymore meaning the light will go on at 100% instead of 30%

I think they are but they somehow don't get assigned to your device, I have a few too and about 7 out of 9 Fibaro Door/Window sensors that don't have templates anymore after I re-included them so it must be a bug with assigning them or when they where converted.

Did you do an upgrade?

I'm on 4.031 but I didn't do an upgrade between the two I re-included 2 days ago and the 7 I did yesterday, they are all 2.1 firmware sensors. So that's the strange thing, why would two go well and the day after all of them go bad? They do all work though, and they lost their templates after a few hours, they showed fine at first.

Year 2023; I've been bringing back to life my system which I'd stopped maintaining years ago (because Fibaro!) and I'm looking at 12 devices without templates, some of them brand new and only installed in the last week.

I'm being reminded why I gave up with Fibaro all those years back. It has not been a pleasant reaquaintance at times and I think Fibaro is going to be the reason why I finally move to a different controller.
