Problems with new firmware

Question

Posted

Good Afternoon,

I have updated to the new version of HC2 last week and I am now having several issues. The main problem I have is the Z-Wave Secure Wall Thermostat & Receiver Set. In the old system it was recognised find and worked 100% in the new system the receiver is ok, but the thermostat has a new icon now, with a separate temperature device but it does not work in the same was. The temp changes to 22oc when required that is meant to last for 3 hours, but after 10 mins it goes back to 10oc.

I have exclused and included several times.

I would like to factory reset and start from a from a blank canvas. can I do this without going into recovery mode? as recovery mode does not seem to work since I have updated....

Any help would be appreciated.

Gavin

    No.

OK, how do I get into recovery mode if it appears broken? I have held include button while powering on for 1 second, 5 secs, 30 secs, 60 secs, nothing works....

I have tried static IP and searched DHCP scope.

Gavster2002, do not hold recovery button for such a long time. Unplug HC2, hold down button and plug it back. Release button as soon as you see diodes going from let to right. HC2 will have DHCP now. What is diodes state after that?
