Motion detector/timer nok resett with movement

Question

Posted

Hello.

I have been playing around with HC2 in a few days know and i`m loving it.

My ass is sore after all the sitting.

But some times it`s just awful to be me in this hightec world.

I am trying to build a scene where an on/off switch turns on the light, and stay on as long as i am there OR 30 seconds without movement.

My problem is that it`s not registering my movement while i am there..

I have tried to adjust the parameter 2, parameter 6 and set parameter 12 to only send basic off.. Nr 12 i just tried because i read about it.

2 and 6 i thougt had somethings to do about it..

Somebody wants to educate a fellow

I experience the very same and don't understand where it goes wrong, unfortunately...

Can anyone help?

I also read in the forum that scenes programmed in LUA work far better compared to scenes programmed through blocks, is that true?

The idea I had in mind for my house is that at a specific time, the system automatically turns on lighting in the livingroom in the morning at 40%, and only once there's motion detected then system should turn it up to 80% for 60 seconds or until no motion is detected anylonger. Then it goes back to 40% (.. and at a specific time, the system will turn off lighting fully)

I can't get this fully working when programming with blocks... also any advice for the LUA script I would need here?
