Reduce visible temperature sensors in HC2 console?

Question

Posted

Hi all,

In most rooms of my house I have Fibaro smoke detectors installed, which also have the capability of providing temperature information.

However, I also have a Fibaro motion detector sensor installed in the very same rooms, which also have the capability of providing temperature information... so in my HC2 console I now see two temperature sensors displayed in a single room, and I am wondering if I could disable / remove or consolidate both to only one being displayed.

Right now the console looks a bit crowded because of the duplicates

I already found that with removing one temperature sensor, it actually removes the whole Motion sensor.

You can hide the temperature-sensor in the advanced settings:

"The device is hidden in the system" See attachment

Just be sure not to hide the one that shows in the room. Otherwise you can't open "Rooms" anymore. It's a known bug.
