Why does this LUA-scene not trigger if I change the value of the globalvariable "Simon"???

How do you change it? Try changing it using other scene.

EDIT: I change the value manually from the settings panel in HC2... will try it with a scene...

typo in variable name or some odd chars in text of scene.

Can you set a non numeric through variable panel now. Used to be only numerics

Robmac: thanks but I'm calling from a phone so I'd like it to be possible in a simple url.

The aim is to trigger my precense at home from an iOS app that sends the url.

But now its to many steps, URL->web server->put request->trigger scene to change the global value-> trigger real scene...

I like neat and simple things...
