Does anyone know what the default value for setReadTimeout is?

Code example:

The last line, well is it mandatory or does it have a default value? If so what is it?

I've been using Net.FTcpSocket as well, and I've noticed that the setReadTimeout does not do anything. I use a loop that writes "ping" to an iPhone until the iPhone 'leaves' the network or locks. This leads to a timeout 22 seconds before the socket returns control to the VD, whatever the value for setReadTimeout is set to! Quite annoying. I'm looking for any documentation regarding FTcpSocket that tells me how to prevent this excessive timeout, because it is not very practical.

Anyway, as far as I know, the default timeout is  approximately 22 seconds.
