fibaro dimmer question

In the instructions that came with the fibaro fgd 500w dimmer, it shows the possibility of using a double switch in the diagram.

Does this mean its possible to dim 2 lights both connected to the dimmer separately?

if not whats the point of having a double switch for 1 light?

You can only use 1 light per dimmer module. But you can connect another button for the purpose of trigger a scene. The scene can then trigger what ever you want...
