I can't use Vision Security Siren in home center 2

Hello community,

i cant use my vision security siren with fibaro hc2. It is well know that this siren is implented in hc2 as a on/off switch. Some users report that they configure

In several Forums other People could solve this Problem by advanced set up as a "controlled device: lightning ". So i have changed that, but despite this , my device hat the Status Device Kind On/Off Switch.

Thats why i cant yet activate the siren in Alarm Panel.

Is there someone who might help me out?

Does someone know an other siren which works with fibaro?

Hi Daniel,

Could you provide more details on how you configured the Scenes? I'm struggling also to get my Vision Security Siren to work with my HC2.

Do you also have any experience on how you would best ARM / DISARM the alarm? Remote Control, iPhone etc?

 

I also would be interested how you switch off the Siren when the alarm goes off?

I am now looking to purchase a security siren/light alarm for my HC2. Ive trolled the posts but no-one seems to have nailed the ideal product? Any suggestions please?

 

I want to mount it near the front door inside or out depending on weather proofing. I was going to use Fibaro window and door sensors to set it off, and or Fibaro sensor. Idea is more for of a deterrent than total prevention., Peace of mind etc.

I have also gotten Vision VM1601 Wireless Siren. Definitely keen to know more and how to best use this device for security (e.g. physical break-in) and safety (e.g. fire) alerting.

I have one too and here is what I did. It is set up a an on/off light switch. In the alarm panel it I set up that when the alarm is triggered to turn on that switch and the siren starts with strobe and noise...
