AEON Labs detects movement since upgrade to 4.x

Question

Posted

Since the upgrade some of my lights are turning on middle in the nights. The HC2 sees that my AEON LABS 4 in 1 sensors detect movement (but there is no movement). Sometimes 4 or 5 times, somes 1. I have this since the upgrade of 4.x, it's getting worse since the last two small fixes. Anybody else has also seent his problem?

The issue could be the sensor which triggers as soon as it wakes up. Try to set wake up time from 4080 to much longer.

Yes, I have noticed that to. It looks like when the unit is wakes up.

The strange is that only one of the Aeon 4-1 motion sensor behaves like this, the other one is fine.

I changed the value to 7200 on wake up time.

Testing this after the tip from dawiinci...

I have 6 of these and I must say only the ones that are wired to a usb-outlet work (most of the time). With the battery-powered multisensors, sooner or later I got false alarms which made them almost unusable, unless you switch off the motion detection but then again the luminance and temperature measurements are not very accurate either..
