If there is an app for it, you can also control it with the HC2. You just need to sniff out the TCP packages that is sent between the app and the device and then send those from a virtual device. I've done that exact thing for my Wifi water kettle.

 by Belkin. Enabled with Wifi, it makes it easier to brew coffee when I am 10 feet away. Now coffee lovers don't have to worry about getting up and operating each time. Just with an app and few touch making coffee has become way easier. This has a price tag of only $112. ☕  Just what everybody needs! Thanks for the recommendation.

oh my god ... that's *abuse* again.
If the coffee machine does not have a connection to the water supply, it does not have spilled used coffee, it does not have refilled coffee, it does not have the container or cups there ... you still have to take care of it.
It is also necessary to solve the rinsing of the nozzles, otherwise the coffee is worthless.
It only makes sense to me when I count online the number of coffees dispensed online (for example, in companies where coffee expenses are shared), calculate electricity consumption, calculate costs, inform about an early shortage of coffee (not when it occurs).

Well the idea is that you setup the coffeemachine with coffee and water, older versions has a time switch. this one you can "turn it on by wifi"

Of course, I understand the thinker.
My coffee machine has been preparing excellent coffee for a long time ... but only because it turns on the dispensing paths when it is switched on and before it is switched off.
I also flirted with it to stuff SmartImplant into it. But still instead of a cup I give a bowl for "waste" rinsing water and only then I give a cup for coffee ..
Without rinsing, the tubes become overgrown with spin and then mold.
So ... I still prefer a stupid coffee machine, but excellent coffee.

It is true, coffee machine needs care, cleaning, preparations. Still it is nice to have coffee ready in the morning before we get up from bed ? ☕
