you can not change the game rules half way

when i bought ipad 1, it was working, i did not read somewhere that after an update ipad is not working anymore?

if so, can i exchange them for ipad 2 at fibaro?

i am not buying a ipad 2/3/4 because...

My ipad1 works perfectly with "Fibaro for iPhone" application.

App "Fibaro for iPad" doesn't work, but it never worked before.

You should know that mostly these restrictions are caused by apple. I think many updates as well newest iOS doesnt work on iPad 1? Same with fibrao app - this is made for newest iOS systems to work with.

like i said, when i bought hc2 the ipad worked

the hardware did not change, and now the ipad 1 is not workong anymore

and someone who is a reseller tells me that's it's apple's fault not fibaro

which is Obvious, there is a lot of money to be earned, so ofcourse it's never fibaro's fault

Ipad1 runs iOS5.1.1 max. This is ancient software with lots of limitations.

Every software vendor stops support of older software to get the maximum out of their application. This is common strategy so it's nobody's fault.

The bad thing is that you can't upgrade an ipad1, and again, that's also common practise for software developers.

The only thing we can't deal with is that for the newer type of devices the lifecycle is much shorter than we were used to.

    Cheers

so this can happen with every version.

people who are using ipads to control their home must save money because every year there is a change to throw them all away if you want to control hc2

try installing the latest modern iPad apps on your ipad1, many are not available.

for instance: the Vera apps run from iOS6 upwards.
