I found reports that the Danalock is working with Fibaro HC2 as of 4.017. In this forum, it is mentioned that bugs related to Danalock operation are foxed in BETA FW 4.024. So, not completely clear yet if the DANALOCK is fully supported with the current FW release or the BETA release.

I use the DANALOCK CIRCLE with Zipato's Zipabox. ZIpato is supporting the device, but I am considering a migration of my system to HC2 but first want to be sure the lock is supported.

I have mixed feeings on the DANALOCK. It is of great quality but you have to accept having to replace the batteries after 4-6 months. The point on which I have doubts is the delibirate choice of the engineers not to have logical end points. This means that you can send subsequent LOCK commands which will make the lock turn in the same direction untill it hits the physical end point of the lock. The same for subsequent UNLOCK commands. One moght expect that the device would flip-flop between LOCK and UNLOCK positions which would be defined thru parameter settings to match the characteristics of the physical lock.

The rectangular version might have a different modus operandi. The manual operation knob of this device indicates that it can only has one LOCK and one UNLOCK position.

There is room for new devices in the world of domotics locks. I saw that Versiure announced they would have support in their home alarm system for the Yale Doorman lock sets. Looks very professional but is also quite expensive, and is not simple to order for the moment. It also requires the whole physical lock to be replaced.

Always interested to learn about good Z-WAVE controlled door lock systems for retrofitting locks with Eurocilinder.
