Rebuilding network and 'requestNodeNeighborUpdate'

Question

Posted

Hi all & Fibaro support,

Using HC2 FW v.3.590.

I have some questions about rebuilding the Z-Wave network. Please don't ask why.

If you don't know all answers then just answer what you know FOR SURE.

1. According to Vesternet, HC2 rebuilds the network every few days. Is that true?

2. To rebuild manually, what is the correct call:

fibaro:call( 1, 'requestNodeNeighborUpdate', 1 )

or

fibaro:call( 1, 'requestNodeNeighborUpdate' ) -- Missing second 1 before last bracket.

3. In the call, the first 1 stands for device ID, so the call is sent to HC2.

What does the second 1 mean?

4. Are there other valid values instead of the second 1 ?

5. Is there a way to see results of calling requestNodeNeighborUpdate ?

6. Can a manual network rebuild cause problems?
