Unable to get into recovery mode **Fixed**

Question

Posted

Good Morning.

I am having minor issues since upgrading from 3.60 so am planning to reset to factory defaults and start fresh from recovery mode. I have 4.032 at moment and it boots and works ok, but I cant seem to get my heating working properly 1 Channel Secure thermostat and receiver set. it was working well in 3.6 but now has different icon and functionality seems to have altered and is erratic.

I have entered recovery mode many times before so am familiar with the process, but have tried 20+ times now and no luck.

The 3 (right) lights are lit and the recovery light lit, but I am unable to find the HC2. I have tried looking at DHCP scope, fibaro finder and tried the manual ip address of 192.168.81.1.

I can reboot back into 4.032 no problem.

In settings I can confirm that the recovery checksum says ok, but I think the first time i looked it did not say ok, so i verified and now it says ok.

Any ideas?

Hmm! Quite complete diagnostics I'd say! One tiny question: have you tried to hold the buttons longer, to force the recovery into using the fixed IP?

Success. After trying about 50 times... no lie!

I held the button until it got past the 'all lights' then it addeed recovery light the the first 2 lights on the left. i then released the button and could get into 192.168.81.1.

Recovering now. hopefully my problems will now be at an end.
