Location plugin and family panel

Hi,

I have problem to use the GPS function, my dashboard dont show the family panel, i create different user, and loging in different smartphone with this account, i check the location services enabled in settings, but nothing happend in HC.

i have 4.032 installed, family panel is the same that location plugin?, when i do click on the banner of location plugin, this send me to location panel.

i search in forum, but can fin solution to this problem.

please your help.

    today the app for iphone was upgraded......and problem persist

    Localizing and GPS-features have been left out of 'new' versions for several months now. It's nowhere in the User Interface anymore, so no use to search for it.

    When it will be back ? Nobody knows. Fibaro has more important problems to solve, it seems.

    this characteristic of fibaro made me buy the HC2, this is deceptive publicity! I DEMAND A FIBARO ANSWER ALREADY! or I will have to bring a suit by false deceptive publicity.

    Same for me !!! I'm fed up with discovering functionnalities that disappeared... instead of having more and more functionnalities, it is the reverse we've got !!!!

    Don't bother folks... don't get angry just put up with it! There are far to many people on here that are willing to accept the currently weak software support, you are fighting a losing battle! Just resort back to 3.x and you will be back up and running again!

     

    Trust me you will just end up in an argument, then the army of bottom feeders join in, then you get banned for a few weeks!

    Guys who use 3.xxxx - can you confirm that family panel and tracking is working ? reinintiate all devices is quite time consuming... and i'm tired to spend another weekend with fibaro.

     

    So far: Fibaro LatestUpdate:

     

    tracking iOS: not working

    push iOS: working

     

    tracking Android: working

    push Android: working

     

    tested: iPhone iOS8 and Nexus 6 on Android 5 and 5.1

    iPhone 5s ver 2.4

    iPhone 5 ver 2.4

     

    - GPS set to sync every 30 mins. for 2 different users

    - Logged in with different users on both iPhones.

     

    - Only 1st name pops up in 'Family Panel'

    - No location is tracked for any user in the fam. panel

     

    - Tried with 2 scenes to set 2 variables when gps enters 100mtr area. Both failed.

     

    I tried all the obvious things; restart hc2/iphones, re-installed iphone apps, re-created users.

     

     

    In my humble opinion the gps tracking indeed does not work.

    In my humble opinion the gps tracking indeed does not work.

     

    The key to the bug is in iOS | Location Services. The location services for Fibaro app keeps turning 'empty' every time Fibaro app is launch or inside the app, the connection is being refreshed.

     

    I have found a way to make it work momentarily but since Fibaro app will auto refresh after idle for certain time, the location services stop working and need to turn on again. In my opinion, this is a bug in Fibaro app which Fibaro needs to fix.

    Perhaps they are holding back this function? Since from 3.590, mine was working perfectly till recently.
