Fibaro RGBW Controller shows white light when powered on - help

Recommended Posts

Hi,

When I connected up one of the 5 RGBW controllers to a 24VDC supply the LEDs immediately light up white.

HC2 will not find the device and thus add it, so i cannot control them.

When pressing the B button on the controller the LEDs change to green and then return back to white.

I can't see any mention of this in the trouble shooting -- what steps can I try to make the module be recognised by the HC2 ?

Don't know what it means, but I would start with a factory reset. Sorry if I state the obvious, but you make no mention of resetting it, so here's the procedure...

Resetting Fibaro RGBW Controller:

1. Disconnect voltage supply.

2. Press and hold the B-button located inside Fibaro RGBW Controller's casing.
3. Connect voltage supply still holding the B-button.
4. Release the B-button.
5. B channel will turn on (blue channel).
6. Disconnect power supply.

The Fibaro module was fresh out of a shrink wrapped box.

But I went through the steps anyway and it did make the device auto add to HC2 after that.

Which is great news. Thanks for the suggestion @
