Last chance of backing this remote.  Seems a really stylish alternative to Logitech Harmony with added Z-wave support.

Yeah I'm pumped for this one I backed them for 4 remotes and brains! Can't wait until May.

I took it a bit more cautious and just went for a brain and remote in black.  Also stoked for it.

What about the z-wave radio frequency differences between USA and Europe? Will it support both?

Sure hope so, I'm from Belgium.  Would expect as much, as they ship to Europe.

Just found it on their site:

"What if I live in the EU?

We ship from within the EU and you will receive the right power supply and the right Z-Wave version for your region."

So no problem. Looks very nice and promissing. They showed the Fibaro app in their video

Yes, just when they were talking about "waiting until the app is loaded and ready, it's cumbersome and inconvenient".  Coincidence??

I backed them for a black cat and I'm selling my HC2. I still have a raspberry pi and I'm going to install Domoticz on it. I think a NEEO + Pi + Domoticz could be a very powerful solution. If the NEEO isn't mature to handle complex Z-Wave scenarios then I can alway program it to make a HTML call to a scenario on Domoticz.

The NEEO will be able to handle all my Home theater equipment and I'm still using all Z-Wave switches dimmers etc. to control my lights.

    I hope

Please keep us posted on how that goes. This year I would like to decided on which HA solution I will back for the few years. Moving across to a new one will not be a quick process, so I need to be careful about it.

It'll be interesting and I hope, fingers crossed, successful. Fibaro's idea of plug-ins are nice idea but they're way too premature in order to run a hometheater with it. I also have the Logitech Ultimate One but I find that one too severely crippled to be really useful. The NEEO kickstarter site looked promising, well to be honest, it's almost too good to be true

/emoticons/default_icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> so I thought about an hour before I went for the NEEO.  I have no idea how and to what extend NEEO will be able to control Z-wave devices like dimmers, sensors etc. But I know it can make HTTP calls and when it can do that, it should be easy to control a simple Raspberry Pi with opensource Z-wave software.

So I am selling off the HC2 and in a later stage the Logitech will hopefully follow. I'll keep you updated.

How is the NEEO compatibility working for you?
