Question

More and more users are reporting that their HC2 crash every few hours. I am one of them.

HC2 is still running but HCSERVER is crashed, meaning you have no function, no web interface, just SSH access.

See attachment how the interface looks like.

Right now no one has a clue why this happens. Fibaro can connect to a crashed HC2 and find out but it is so difficult to get support if this happens. No one wants HC2 to be offline for days and it seems that only one developer can find this issue which makes it even more difficult.

So if you have a crashed HC2 and can manage it don't restart!

Contact A.Socha so he hopefully can connect together with another developer to find the cause for this and bring out the first real HOT fix.

Too often for me as well. Are you on 4.033 as well?

One clue for you, are you running any while true do aka infinite scenes? Perhaps try stopping those scenes and see if it still crashes.

Cheers!

Not related to scenes. I only have one while true. Can also crash after just two hours.

I have the same the last couple of days. It looks like it started when i used net.HTTPClient in a scene calling a https webserver instead of using a seperated webserver for this task. Today I reverted it back to the original solution, now I have to wait to see if this is indeed the problem.

I have the same problem but only on "Home"/"Your house" page.

Everything else works fine. (Rooms, Devices, Scenes, ...)

After I reverted back to the old situation the HC2 was stable again. So I used the scene again with net.HTTPClient in it, but without net.HTTPClient iinside a function and that is now also stable for more then a day.

So there is something wrong (function or function in combintion with net.HTTPClient or ?), but I worked my way around it.

No crashes at all since 4.032 and 4.033 (for >7 days) so it may not be HC2 firmware itself. Pure Fibaro devices and 35 block scenes (mostly motion-sense and/or light-sense as trigger then turn on lights).
