I would first exclude the device from the Fibaro, even if you don't see it in the devices list it may have some association remnants left in the device.

Button 1          TOP             Button 2

     O

    LED

Button 2                            Button 4

Remove Device

1) Put the device into 'Management Mode' by keeping all buttons press for 5-8 seconds (green LED will flash when in Management Mode. After around ten seconds the module automatically ends 'Management Mode")

2) Put the controller into remove device mode

3) Then press button number 1 to exclude the device.

Once excluded, repeat similar process as above to re-include i.e.

Add Device

1) Place controller into inclusion mode via the web interface i.e. add devices

2) Put the device into 'Management Mode' by keeping all buttons press for 5-8 seconds

3) Quickly press button 1 until the web interface begins to report the device has been added.

4) Once included the device will need a wake-up to complete the inclusion. Put in Management Mode again, then press button 2 to wake the device and finish inclusion. You may need to do this several times until the controller confirms the wake-up has completed

I have also found the device needs to be very close to the controller/antenna when setting up, otherwise it will fail with mixed results.

Once fully included into the controller you can now ‘Associate’ the device to the device you want to control.

I hope this will help you. Good luck!

I will try it again also. Did got a refund, because I couldn't get it to work and then version 4 came out, with no scene support. Now this is fixed, so maybe I order another one

I have it connected and in Fibaro, it recognises it as Keyfob I add a scene saying when press == Scene activation and then i set it to 1, then run scene bla. But nothing happens. Any idea on this? Amazing how complicated this can be, i simply need each button to run a scene.

Also, how do you make it work when you select Control Pre-Configured scenes??

The key fob is NOT a minimote but you can use parts of my guide to diagnose sceneActivation:

Unfortunately I cannot get it included properly (ZME_KFOB_S. Version 1.0)

I did take the steps as written by Stealth. I'm just next to the HC2 (I can touch it). First excluded it, then included it by put the KFOB in management mode, Add device on HC2, Press button 1. It says it has added a device and the next line is 'learning mode error' Try again... In the window it does say I need to wake up the device, so I put it in managament mode again and press button 2 to wake up.. But nothing happens

Anyone has some thoughts about it? I tried excluding and including multiple times... I also change the battery.
