power outage scene

Hello friends, 

I want to make a scene : when the power is cut , and returned back , the wall plug is disconnected automatically for 1 minutes and reconnect again , because i am using wall plug for Refrigerator  , so i don't want to be damaged when the power come back

My question is there any parameter should i change in wall plug advanced and how to make a scene do this process.

note :iam in a country the electricity is cutting down continuously.

Change parameter 16 "Remember device status after power failure" of the wall plug (the description will make it clear).

 

Save this scene on your HC2, replace 9999 with ID of plug

Which in case the HC2 does not come up leaves your fridge without power until you're back home to notice. I would not do that but leave it without a plug and just let the fridge come back on when power is restored. That seems much safer.

Thanks peter , but idon't know why it works fine for just one time and  when i repeat the cut-down the scene not work any more ! 

UrSv ,I am usually be out of my house for long periods (10 days),  when the power is restored the current become high because many loads is being low,

so i fair that the fridge get damaged as it happened to others (It is usual for us to get stuff like this).

This scene only runs when you press "save" and when you reboot. It doesn't run when you press "start" and that's by design. That's what the "autostart" means...

Does this explain what you see? If not, let me know, I'll try the script when I am home...

Peter , i know autostart function , and i save it as you said, but works for just first time only .

I would still use a normal industrial delayed relay for it which connects the load after a preset delay on power-up. Something like a Weidmüller Timer BTR-S 8647720000

I see... Looks good. You want the script to respond to "141 value" changes too, so when someone accidentally switches of the wall plug, it'll be switched on after 60 seconds. My script was only run at boot... The <<<startSource["type"] == "other">>> is only there to make the "start" button work (for debugging). And "setTimeout" is newer alternative to "sleep". So that should be good!

BTW I do think UrSv gave an interesting alternative (though not cheap... but you don't want cheap here)...

Peter , you are right in your scene , it works fine , because i was tested this scene by Removal the wall plug to simulate the power cut, but forget to power cut the home center too
