Aeon Lab's Smart Switch Gen 5 (ZW075-C07) Unable to Soft-Switch On/Off

chaicka

Question

I have just purchased a Aeotec Smart Switch Gen 5, ZW075-C07 with firmware 3.25 which has been able to include to HC2 running v4.033. However, it is not able to switch the power on or off from the HC2 interface despite it is able to track power consumption (in W and in kWh) and update HC2 accordingly (where the HC2 'consumption' menu does show).

Please login or register to see this attachment.

Toggling the On/Off button in HC2 will result in status shown below the device as 'Transfer OK' but in reality, the equipment connected to this smart switch is still powered off/on contrary to the soft-switch in HC2.

Is anyone else facing this issue? Does the smart switch's firmware matters?

This problem has already been confirmed for slightly different product number, no fix yet:

  • Thanks for the confirmation. My supplier's test unit seems to be working fine. Mine is a new shipment (probably explains the firmware 3.25).
