Qubino dimmer with new firmware (S5) does not work in HC2 4.033

Hi, they Qubino dimmer with new firmware does not work in HC2 4.033 (registers as some kind of heating device).

 

Is there any idea to contact Fibaro about this (and how do i do that?), or is it just give up and return them to the dealer?

Hi, I have been in contact with both Qubino and Fibaro regarding this.

 

Qubino confirm that those dimmers have a new firmware (S5, manually marked on the dimmer).

Fibaro confirms that there is no support for those in HC 2 4033 and it wont be fixed in the near future.

 

Qubino recommended me to return dimmers to the dealer.

Did they say, what the difference is between the old and the new firmware?

 

Reason is: I have 3 Qubino Dimmers

I have a few of them that works already (firmware s4) and i like them. That's why I ordered 3 more.

 

Qubino told me that there is a extra parameter in the new firmware.

But a reseller (that had been in contact with Qubino today) told me that there is a bug in the new firmware (s5) in those dimmers that was delivered in Sweden in March.
