Arm and disarm alarm on HCL with Aeon Labs key fob

JDTHiemstra

Question

I’m struggling to arm and disarm my alarm with 2 key fob's on the hcl.

I have managed to include 2 key fob’s in the z-wave network.

The configuration template of de the key fob is very limited. Association to one device is no problem. I use the state or status of an switch to trigger a scene.

But I whish to use one button for arming my house en a second button for disarming. How is that possible.

Has somebody a working solution?

HCL does not support lua, so you gotta use a workaround.

Try use 2x1,5kW switch, with no outputs connected, each relay will catch one key fob and run a scene (on/off - arm/disarm). Using double relay helps you to avoid 'arm crossing', like you're at house and someone (second key fob) is leaving - house can't arm it yet.

I'd like to know better solution too, hope this help to you
