RGBW-controller with RGB-ledstrip (no white W)

Question

Posted

How should I set parameters on RGBW-Controller to use it with RGB-only led strip. As it is now with parameters 1-14 it seems not to work with RGB only. (at least parameter 14 says 4369 which is for RGBW-strip).

Hi

I have just connected rgb strip using rgbw fibaro. I have problem with colours - it seems the green and red colour are switched. If I turn on red only  the green will actually turn on. And wise versa.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

make sure the order of cables are right. I think the fibre was out of order.

Not sure what happened with the wires. Originally when wiring I have done associated colour of wires from RGB to RGBW Fibaro module.

After your advise I have swapped the wires, reconfigured and all works fine.

So beware the colour of wires can be wrong - I had to wire RED wire to green terminal and the same with GREEN wire to red terminal. Weird.

    Thank you
