Why dont heating panel schedule not work??

Question

Posted

Today is Thu. and the time is 18:50. The valves in the panel should at 18:00 adjust to 19deg, but dont????

If I set a manuel temperature in the panel, the temperature is adjustet as it should on the valves.

I am aware of that when in manuel mode the schedule don't work.

Is there some thing wrong with the schedule or am i doing some thing wrong??

Hope some one can help.

How do you know the valves don't adjust (I don't get that from the screenshot, I suppose)? What valves/thermostat(s) are you using?

Hi! probably your are talking about this issue : 0002920: Danfoss sw1.01 doesn't follow the morning setting of heating panel.

You can read it in bugzilla. As other peuple, I'm having the same issue.

Djtonsil you just have to take my word for it

/emoticons/default_icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> on the danfoss termostat I can see the current setpoint and new setpoint. The new setpoint is not updated.

Tony270570 actually in my situation it was the evening setpoint that was the problem.

I have deleted both my panels and added them again. Now I just need to test again.

    I'm happy to believe you

/emoticons/default_icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />  and learning that you're talking about the Danfoss thermostats is what I was looking for (they are actually thermostats in terms of the smart control, not just valves where you need to regulate the temp separately, that's why I asked).

I'm using 7x Danfoss LC-13 with heating panels and vacation mode myself and they all get updated as desired.

I see that in your heating panel you only set two of the entries. I'm not saying that this is wrong and I expect it should work but it's something I have never tried. I just set the intermediate entries to the same temp so that there is a consecutive chronology on the timeline because I don't know how the timer is implemented behind the heating schedule.

E.g. if HC2 would wait for the time "00:00" after the morning setting, it would skip the evening setting.

Maybe try to set the "Day" entry to "11:00" with the same temp to see if that changes anything?

What do you see in the event log with regard to target temp updates of the Danfoss thermostats? They should appear there when they get a new temp.

Also, are all Danfoss assigned to the correct rooms and are all desired rooms assigned to the desired heating panels (edit icon next to the heating panel name)?

    Cheers

    Thanks for your answer djtonsil.

I am still testing, and right now it looks good. What I have done is to delete my two heating panels, and then add them again and associate the corresponding rooms to the panels. It is totally the same now as before delete, but now they seems to work, but I still keep an open eye on them.

The worst thing is that I dont know what went wrong.

    Cheers.
