Reset HCL to its defaults

Hello,

 

Unfortunately, I lost the password of my Home Center Lite (HCL) and I would like to reset the HCL to its default settings including password.

I have followed the recovery procedure, but in this recovery state, the HCL assigns to itself an 192.168.81.1 address and a gateway which prevents it from connecting to internet. Sadly, an Internet connection seems to be mandatory for the HCL to download a fresh firmware copy and reset itself.

How Can I solve this issue? Is there a way to have a recovery with DHCP client enabled state?

Is it possible to download somewhere a firmware to install it offline?

Connect your PC directly to the LAN port on your HCL and enter the IP address above to access the menu. After that enter the IP details you want to use and then connect back to your router and you are good to go
