Hi, I am having many false alarms from the motion sensor because it senses motion when there isn't. It usually happens at day. The sensor is located indoor (in a corridor).

Reading the manual I came across that parameters 1 (MOTION SENSOR’S SENSITIVITY), 3 (PIR sensor’s "PULSE COUNTER") and 4 (PIR sensor’s “WINDOW TIME”) are the ones that modify the sensitivity of the device.

* Parameter 4 seems pretty clear. The greater, the more sensitive. Mine is set to 2 (12 seconds).

* Parameter 1 seems more or less clear. The greater, the less sensitive. Although it is not clear to me what this value means exactly (seconds, amount of energy detected, etc), and I don't know what range of values are reasonable. Mine is set to 8.

¿Can someone tell me what range of values is reasonable?

* Finally, parameter 3 is VERY CONFUSING. The manual says "Sets the number of moves required for the PIR sensor to report motion. The lower the value, the less sensitive the PIR sensor"

If this is the number of moves, it makes NO SENSE that THE LOWER the value, the less sensitive is.

I think the manual is wrong because those two sentences are totally contradictory.

¿Can someone tell me if I should increase or decrease this value to make the sensor LESS sensitive?

Thanks in advance.
