Reliability of HCL

Question

Posted

for the 3rd time in 4 days, the HCL stopped working. The 5 lights are flashing in the following way:

0 0 1 0 0

0 1 0 1 0

1 0 0 0 1

1 0 0 0 1

0 1 0 1 0

0 0 1 0 0

and so on. Reset brings it back to normal at least for a while.

Does anyone know what this pattern means?

I can't relay on HCL and therefore I have already migrated some critical z-wave stuff over to another PD system, which is not so „blinky“ but stable. Also I have full control over the system which helps to solve/circumvent issues by myself.

Fibaro CS seems to be very busy considering the response times. For my first ticket it took a week for them. I looks like more than 270 tickets went into Fibaro support during this time (Ticket # from my last Ticket minus ticket # from my first ticket...). This is 54 Tickets per work day! It looks to me that they just have not enough support peoples to handle this load.

I wouldn't waste my time with Fibaro anymore but I recognize (imo) the right vision (but wrong priorities..) of Fibaro. Therefore I will keep the HCL for a while with non critical thinks. I still hope that Fibaro will get there act together but reliability is most important.
