Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum, but have been reading round various web pages to try and bottom out which system i should really invest my time and money into...

The current new build is just over 45sqm which will function as a new kitchen and large family room. Initially i was just hoping to   carry out lighting control, but the more and more read on the capabilities of home automation systems the more options i feel i could encompass.

What i am asking is for peoples experiences of Fibaro. There seems to be a huge issue around updates and functionality, this is something i really do not want to get into. I want a system that is easy to use (for the family), easy to programme (for me) and expandability.

So what are the views out there..???

Many thanks in anticipation of your responses.

I've used Rako for lighting which is very reliable. The philps system looks good too. But Rako is more of an installer solution and with Fibaro you can do more yourself and have control over it. It will also be easier to update and remove if necessary than some other systems, plus you can add as you go, which may be easier on the budget.
