LUA - slowly increase brightness

Question

Posted

I am looking for a scene to increase the brightness of my Hue lights at sunset over a period of 30-60 min. Lights are now implemented as a virtual device because I'm still at v3.

Perhaps even with a way to stop the scene if I want to turn off the lights halfway?

Any snippet is welcome, I'm sure I can build something from that. I would be great if I can use your code instead of making the same mistakes as everyone on this forum

Btw. I'm already using LUA scheduler (is great!). So I can trigger the scene from there

You can use the transitiontime command in the hue lua script for that.
