Can one roller shutter 2 be used to control two motors? I want identical movements of the two motors and of course positioning would be great. But will it work?

Yes, just make sure to adjust power thresholds for proper calibration. However positioning may not be very precise, due to different speed of blinds - even identical ones vary in that matter.

Thank you for the answer. The reason why I am asking is because I only want one switch on wall. Can one solution be to use two modules and association, only one module will be connected to switch but it control both motors? Could that work?

Or simply connect the switch to both modules without association ?

You can do that, however in all these option there will be the same problem - different speeds will result in different positions. Have you considered synchronizing these 2 blinds with scene? So you can control one, and the other will be set to the same value.

Yes I can do that. But then I would definitely have to use two modules, one per blind, right? But when operating manually via switch it is not that serious if the blinds are not set to the same value.

So then the easiest way would be to connect both blinds to single module.

I use somfy sonesse and have had no issues so far. Although the they are less than a year old currently. They are very quiet which is good

Sounds good fat..I was looking at the Somfy web site as your post came through. So tell me the Fibaro controller simply installs into the 240VAC feed to the blinds? If so will a wall control work in parallel as a manual option please?

Im having difficulties in providing manual wall switches, dimmers, and RGB control for the lighting to work in conjunction with Fibaro - so I hope I wont come across the same problem on the blinds.

Thanks for the help so far....

I use manual wall switches that Somfy have supplied. These are a 3 button wall switch with up, down and stop buttons. I have a roller shutter v2 behind the switch and I have positioning enabled. This means that I am able to use buttons or HC2 to control the blinds and HC2 always knows the correct position of the blinds

The model I use is the Somfy Sonesse 40 6/40. If you use somfy just make sure you do not get the RTS models. What you want is a "dumb" 4 wire motor
