Hi all,

I have a HCL and a few Fibaro RGBW Modules.

What do I need to do in the Scene Editor so that I can load one of the preset colour-fading modes? At the moment when the Fibaro Motion Detector sees me enter my office, the Desk Lamp and RGBW all come on. But the RGBW just sits at a single colour and I would like it to go to a preset colour fading pattern I've already created.

Many thanks.

What is software version of your HCL? In v3 there is no direct way to start a program on a RGBW with a scene, in v4 it was corrected.

    Hi there.

I am on V3.594 as I understand that we can't yet upgrade to Version 4 unless it came from the factory with V4?

    Thanks.

Yes, for now it is not possible. So the only workaround possible would be to create virtual device that will perform HTTP request to HCL's own API and activate it by a scene.

Create virtual device with following code as a button:

Adjust the IP address ans the credentials in last line (go to

and encode your credentials in following way: login:password), change ID of RGBW device and program number. Put 127.0.0.1 as IP address of device (at the top) and 11111 as port. Now make a scene that will activate this button.
