Alarm Active "system variable"

Question

Posted

Hi,

just wondering if there is a king of accessible "System variable" showing that the alarm is activated ( one/some senzors amred and breached ) - Id like to use it in a scene which would trigger some VDs and as in HC2 you can not "push" button on VD in the alarm panel Id like to create scene checking this "system variable" based on alarm panel status - I know there is a workaround via global variable, but if the "system" one would be available one scene less

No such global variable present natively, but you can create scene that will set your own variable and activate it when alarm breached. Then you have to wait in a loop until some specific device will get disarmed and clear the variable.

Just add it in alarm panel and it will run fine.

If you enter alarm panel, there is list of predefined scenes available, you can add your own to that list and it will run after triggering the alarm.
