Hi All:

I'm having a problem with a relay switch module, in less than 1 year of usage it became erratic. I press the push button to turn ON the light and sometimes it do not turn ON or OFF. I have tried again a couple of time and nothing.  I have check the status of the switch on the HC2 and it show changes on the system but the light do not turn on or off.

For me it see like the output of that relay is not working correctly, but it not all the time.  It was working fine for let say 8 months and then it started the issue.  This module in question is for one of the bathrooms and it the second that become erratic, the first one was for the living room, I change that module for a new and problem solve.

I would like to know if someone else had this issue before?  Also it is normal that those switch became erratic in less than a year?

Thanks in advance for the support.

Regards

Try tapping the units before giving up on them. I have had the problem of sticky relays when used with LED lights.

I had simular issue twice now, and returned them to my seller for warranty/replacement all within one year.

Well known for its magnetic relay to be latch up. Try tapping it to release the latch or add something onto the circuit.
