Question
qedes 5
How do people switch between different lighting setups? For example, 3 lights in a room, sometimes you might want them all at 50%, or two at 10% and one at 30%, etc...
Currently I just do it manually. I have scenes for things like motion triggered lights at night, but if I want mood lighting or task lighting or whatever, I set each light manually from Android.
Is there a simple way to make presets? I have tried with scenes but it doesn't seem very elegant (what do you use to trigger the scene?) Ideally I would like a button/buttons for each room in the Android app with preset levels (dinner, film, party etc). I have wondered about making a virtual device that changes a global variable, and a separate scene that alters the lights based on the variable value, but I'm not sure how to do this.
