How to Connect a "pull down" output to Fibaro system

erip-eri

Question

How can I connect a so called "pull down" output (from a wired alarm system, Scantronic 9751) to Fibaro.  This output is normally used for a strobe (and not in use) and I want to connect it to Fibaro in such way that I can get a push message when the alarm is triggered.  I do have door sensors and a universal input module that i can use but I do not knwo which one and how to use it. And I do not want to experiment to much because I don't want to break the alarm.

The outputs are described as: Open collector transistor outputs, 500ma, 12vdc, negative applied.

thanks,

Eric
