Updating HC2 and HCL

Hello,

Each time I update hc2 or hcl devices dissapear and I need to add it again, is there some help regarding this ? how to save them ? I tried backup but its same

Did you accidentally hard reset your home center resulting in fresh copy of home center? When you add new devices after the update, are those ID start from 1?

Devices should convert databases from old version to the new one, keeping the devices. Make sure all devices are configured and that there are no hidden devices after conversion. Is it the same for 4.042?

I am afraid to try now because I have 70 devices, and if they dissapear I need to add them again

Look, I have this fibaro for about 7 months, there were few updates since that, I cant update it once and thats all ?!, btw I dont understand how they didnt solved keeping devices after update ? It's really big thing to add all these devices again ..

It is not we are not doing anything, but we have not encountered any controller that would constantly lose all devices after every update.

It was not my intent to insult you, just looking for some solution. I am planing to put your devices at my company's buildings, so it would'nt be good thing to loose devices after update.

This should not happen in healthy installation, you should ask support for assistance in that matter, you can send them an e-mail ([email protected]) or give a call (proper number for each country can be found on our website).
