Hi everyone,

A small issue here

I have 2 switches at a different spot. 1 Upstairs and 1 downstairs.

I have implemented the fibaro module upstairs. The switch upstairs is connected to the S1 port.

Everything seems to be working fine here. I can turn the light on and off with the light switch upstairs and with z-wave.

You might have guessed it. Here's my real problem. The light switch downstairs is not working.

I have connected a cable of the L port to the second switch like the first switch and 1 cable from the switch to the S2 port.

Tried to turn the lights on and off with the switch, but it doesn't work.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Do you want what we call in Dutch a "hotel-schakeling"?

If so I don't believe it can be done with a relay, only with a dimmer and then you have to set parameter 17 to ON.

Yes. Thanks for the clear answer. I'm affraid to buy the dimmer, because of the scary melt down stories on this forum

I've found a picture of a scheme with the 2 switches.

    This could work right?

    Looks like it.

It's just a picture of the switches so there is absolutely no way we can know if it works. There is no information on what type of switch they are and how they are connected so it could work or not. The connections to the module are OK.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks everyone.

I can confirm that it is working!

    Attached is the working setup.

I have implemented this at the first switch. The white cable is the second switch downstairs that was connected to the lamp.
