Question
dirkies 1
So this morning something new happened with my HCL.
Everything SEEMED to work, web interface, mobile interface, all menu options responding, time, CPU usage (was only a few %, memory was 37% free) etc
The unit indicated it was 4 days and 11 hours uptime (as before that I had to power cycle the unit as it was completely not responding at all)
The only thing was NOTHING was executed, as if the Z-Wave radio signal was dead. No scheduled scenes ran, no devices could be manipulated (GUI allowed it, but the device did nothing).
I noticed that e.g. you try to switch on a lamp in the GUI, the icon went to a yellow bulb, but right after it turned back into a grey bulb, as if the Fibaro module was sending back the lamp was off.
However all the diagnostic stuff in the menus said all was working fine!?
The usual leds were lit, nothing blinking.
I did try to modify a small detail on a scene to save it back, hoping it would refresh the engine, but no luck. Manual operation of devices using the wall switch worked fine.
So I had to do a soft restart in the config menu and after that everything worked again.
As the event panel did not show any new entries since yesterday evening, there was nothing to indicate when this issue started (during the night I assume) and if there was any log to recover.
So in case this happens again, where can I get more detailed logs about the kernel etc. That was I can send the logs to Fibaro for review and hopefully indication what went wrong and how to fix it.
I am IT savy, so I know how to telnet into things, etc,
Thanks
