I'm using a Satel Integra alarm system with Fibaro HC2 integration. I use mainly Satel sensors, because it enables me to see which sensor is breached on the Satel keypad when I arm the alarm system. I have a couple of Aeon recessed door sensors, because they can be placed invisible in places were I don't want an ugly wireless detector visible from Satel. This all works great, but the downside is, that if a zwave sensor is breached the Integra alarm system cannot tell me which sensor it is.

So, is it possible to connect the Fibaro universal binary sensor with output 1 and 2 to the alarm system and let it trigger those outputs wirelessly when another zwave device (like a door sensor) is breached? That way I can tell which zwave devices is breached in the Satel Integra alarm system.

In other words... can a Fibaro universal binary sensor trigger output 1 and 2 from a HC2 scene?

In the examples I've seen there is always something physically connected (e.g. temp sensor, switch) to the binary sensor that triggers the sensor which then sends info to the HC2.

This is confusing for many people. I had to buy one myself long time ago to test it

The outputs follow the inputs, and they cannot be set over Z-Wave.

What good is it for? Suppose, like you said, you own a wired alarm system with some PIR and door sensors. If the output of those sensors is compatible with the UBS, you can cut the wires running from your sensor to your alarm and put your UBS in between. Now you have status in HC2 and your alarm still works as before.

Also note this tiny module cannot be battery fed, it'll drain your battery in 1-2 days.
