Satel devices in HC2 are all motion sensors instead of door sensors

Question

Posted

After connecting the Satel Integra alarm system with the Fibaro HC2, all satel sensors look like motion sensors in the HC2. I cannot change the device type, like with other zwave devices. Is this a bug or a feature?

All Satel devices have this icon and are motion sensors by default.

You can use workaround that requires Lua:

Please login or register to see this code.

This code allows you to change icon of device to the one you wish. Icon IDs can be found under: IP_HC2/api/icons

Can i just ask where i would put this LUA code?  In a scene? In a VD?

It is a scene. But it is not a basic one so please make sure all settings are adjusted before running it.

This doesn't work on my side. Are you sure about your code?
