Hello

So i put my home center in inclusion and include my Door/window sensor ( FIBARO ) which has temperature sensor also...

On my laptop i see the sensor Open close .... all working fine...

NOW

i go to basement so that i can install my sensor on the garage door.....

with me i have my laptop.....   i play with the sensor a couple of times and i see that it is responding well....

Here is the weird part....

as soon as i take out the battery in order to screw the sensor on ... after installing the battery again the sensor stops working.....

i manually wake it up.... Nothing.... no matter what i do it is out of the system...

why is this happening ?? and how can i resolve this issue?? i had the same  sensor working before at the same place... but only with the double face sticker.... in time it fell on the ground and the car made it flat

the magnet i left it on from the previous sensor....        does that matter at all ???

Any ideas here ???

Sensor probably gets reset when you replace battery with magnet close to sensor, give it a try on open doors.

Well ... That Did the trick.......

I removed the battery while the magnet was away from the sensor..... fixed it with the screws .... put back the battery.... closed the door ..... VOILA

the sensor is working Just Fine.... !!!!!

Seems that you are right..... when the magnet is close to the sensor ... removing the battery and put it back resets the sensor for some strange reason...

Thank you very much for the help...

    Cheers
