Saving a Variable value on FIbaro via HTTP / API

Question

Posted

I would like to send fibaro a value (1-255) to store on a local variable so I can later access via LUA

as there a way to send such value to fibaro ?

I didn't found any API call for this, the only thing I found which look close is to set a slider value of a virtual device via API

any idea ?

if no other idea, can someone set the code to use virtual device for this (and also how to call its value after via LUA)

thanks

Nadav

Do you use v4? visit HCaddress/docs page and use REST console to figure out what should be sent. Also addresses can be found there.
