Hi everybody,

I hope I'm posting this thread in the right category! I made a mistake in the title, I'm talking about the FGS211, not the FGS221.

I started my home automation setup and just faced a problem so I signed up in here to get a little help!
I'm not really fluent in English, so sorry about the mistakes!

So! I'm stuck in my first try of a Fibaro module.
The backoffice is working (aeon z stick s2 + domoticz + yana-server) and I want to automate a light that is piloted right now by 2 two-way switch using a FGS211.

Here is what I followed :

So in reality, here's what I've done :

The module is behind the first wall switch.

The problem is that the bulb is always on! The wall switches doesn't work anymore. The module is well paired, I can see it on the server, I can interract with it, but no effect!
Did I do something obviously wrong?

Here's what's displayed concerning the characteristics:

Thanks in advance for your help!

Are you using momentary or bi stable switches? The diagram you are using looks like it would only work on momentary. If using bi stable it would probably be best to run a common live to each switch and the. Run a switched live back to S1 and S2

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer. They are indeed bi-stable switches.

So this is the moment where my english skills stop, I dont understand your guidelines!

    I need:

     - Another wire between my switches but which plug?

     - A wire between the second switch and S2

    Is that right?

Hi, it's impossible to know if it should work or not as it is unclear which way the switches are connected. If you have bistable switches and want the relay to follow the change of switch state you basically have to use the "stairwell" approach. You can't have the same switch position for the same relay state with dual switches. In that case it would be better to use monostable switches. This means you have to connect it like this using bistable switches and if that's the way you have it then it should work already:

The bistable switches are connected via both purple wires

You guys seem to talk a lot about monostable switches, so I mean, if it's really impossible to make it work with bistable, then I'll surrender and replace them. It's just that, i'd like to keep them if there's a way!

Can you tell me what model of switches do you have?

It's perfectly OK to use bistable switches but they have to be connected the right way. See my additions to your drawing.

Let us know what the make and model of the switches are so that we can tell how it should be connected.

    Brand: LEGRAND

    Model: LEG067001 or 067001 or 0 670 01

@UrSv: I feel like I already did what you drew.

Thanks, the connections are visible on your last picture. If the other switch is connected the same way then it should work if the relay has been properly configured by the controller.

Can you change the state of the switch from controller? Or it is also not possible?

Yes I can change the state of the module, and I can see it on and off on the domoticz server. But there's no effect on the bulb.

Are the parameters I presented in the last image of my first post wrong?

One more question, do you hear that the relay "click" ?

I didn't noticed it. I will retest tonight when I'm home.

Should I hear that click when I switch it on or off via domoticz, even with the "bulb always on" problem?
