GPS Position and iOS app?

I have an HCL 3.594

I receive correctly push notifications on my iPhone 5 (ios 8) with last version of app

I set the app to send localization in mode "always" (but this option was automatically removed every time I open the app or wher removed from background execution)

I set the position of my home under location in settings

I set my Work office position under localization panel

I set to check GPS on device every 5 minutes

I maked a simple scene rule that when I arrive to work  I should receive a push notification (to test the precision) but i don't receive anything....

 

I've other applications (like AroundMe) and the localization option is "always" and never it disappear

I think is a problem with the Fibaro ios app with his localization settings under iOS (you should chek it)

This was indeed a problem, and should have been fixed with latest version of the app.

I was very pleased when I read that iPhone GPS Tracking was fixed in 2.5.1. But I still can’t get it to work. I have tried on iPhone 5 and 6 with iOS 8.3. I created a new user to test with, uninstalled the iOS App and reinstalled it. But still no location data and the user has "hasGPS":false in the API.

How can I get this to work, or is there still issues with the GPS Tracking?

I've updated the app but with a simple rule (send a message when i leave the house) the GPS traking on HC lite seems not working...

I have now been running a scene to track my arriving and leaving work and home with an email and setting a variable. It works sometimes I would say 50%. For example today, there have not been any email and no change in the variable even that I have left home and arrived at work nearly two hours ago. I have set the GPS to send data every 10 min. If I check Family location for my user there are never any location even the times when the scene have picked up that I have moved. So there seems to be a bug in the Family screen.

i have the same problem. Running 4.054 and version 2.6 on the iphone app

Tracking will just stop for days at a time and may or may not start in the subsequent days

 

not reliable enough to run scenes using tracking. Are there any planned improvements for this

i did have this working brialliantly for a couple of months.. Would recognize when both my wif and i had left the house and would turn everything off and activate the alarms along with a notification to say that it had done it.

I tested this a few weeks ago, not functional at all! Set a polling of 5 minutes and added a debug in a scene. Not working.

Its so sad that so much of the Fibaro comercial is not really working. Did they even test the GPS function?

It seems mine is still working though poll is 60 mins and I stopped using in scenes due to unreliability of it.

 

Oh...Fib better dun blame it on iPhone or iOS cause it works perfectly for all the other apps like navigation, Facebook, WhatsApp, LINE, etc that uses the same device and its GPS functionality.
