I have in my house about 20 fibaro modules (dimmers, switches, roller shutters).

At living room, there were:

a) Dimmer - Lampshade

b) Dimmer - Lamp

c) Double switch - O1 - Lamp / O2 - Lamp

d) Double switch - O1 - Lamp / O2 - LED Strip

e) Double switch - O1 - Lamp / O2 - Lamp

f) Double switch - O1 - Lamp / O2 - **FREE**

Last sunday I decided to put a LED strip from shelf into automation (it was the one that wasnt automated) and used the FREE out from f) double switch.

Today I was seated ia a sofa near the wall where is installed the module f) and heard a snap. After that, the S1 and S2 from module f) doesn't answer anymore. The module is marked as dead into HC2.

Any idea what happened?

If this module is physically damaged there is nothing we can do besides sending it to service desk, our technicians will examine it and give you diagnose. Support will provide you details regarding procedure. Of course first make sure that device really stopped functioning.

Probably current inrush from the AC/DC converter for the LED-strip. Most likely the switch closed during the peak portion of the sine wave, which can cause a massive inrush which fuses the module. Unfortunately not very uncommon if once searches the forum.

    How can I do that?

So, it's not recommended using relay switch to control AC/DC LED-strip converter?
