Hi All
I am new to this forum and have found it greatly helpful. Still working my way through it. I can't wrote LUA script so I hope there is an easy fix to my question.
In my kitchen I have a 3kW relay and a motion detector. The light switch is in an out of the way place so I like to have the Motion Detector turn on the light when I go in for a brief moment.
When I go in for an extended period, I don’t want the light going on and off by the motion detector so I have set up the relay with Parameter 3 set to Manual Over-ride Enabled and Parameter 4 set to 1000s.
Both work great… if I don’t go into the kitchen. If I do go into the kitchen and I have turned the light on by the switch, the motion detector activates and takes over the light controls… that is it turns off the light by the parameter set on the motion detector (short Period). This short period is ussually whne i am fairly stationary and usually jsut as I am about to cut into a tomato

I am using HC2 with the latest update. Attaching screen shots if that helps any. Note also that for some reason I get 2 parameter 14's on the motion detector.
Any suggestions would be grateful.
John
